Yesterday we said goodbye to Nero, our faithful 12 1/2 year old labrador.
It was hard for all of us but we have to remember that he had a good life in our family and that he reached the end of his days without getting sick but out of simple old age.
He’ll be missed by all of us.
I’ve redone the whole website as the old one was so darn difficult to update. The new one should hopefully be easy enough for us to actually keep up to date - something that the near future will show.
I’ve added several photos under 2006 where you can see the children’s birthdays (1 , 2 , 3 ) and some other unclassified ones.
The webcam is once again up running and the guestbook has been moved from the old (crappy) host to our own server. The webcam is now using an old cam as the nice one is with me in Luxembourg, so you won’t see a lot when it gets dark. I promise to connect the nice one as soon as I work in Holland again. Promise!!
This weekend we went over to a farm fare in Urk where they showed how things were run 50 years ago. Pretty interesting stuff actually.
There was a lot of old machinery as in stone age tractors and the kind of machines that sort the grains from the straws.
Anyway, I took a couple of nice pictures there and here are two of them.
One with us and one where the children are standing on a plastic carpet that was pulled by two horses.
After a lot of complaints from my dear wife, she said I never updated this page, I decided to put two extraordinary pictures from Daniel here just to keep her mouth shut

Snölyckta (~snow light) - I made this during the afternoon, and the strangest thing is that no one here has ever seen one of these. Nothing strange with it actually, just a bunch of snow balls made in to an igloo and a candle in it.
On the 2nd of March we had snow from early in the morning until late in the evening. The result was 15cm of snow - Wonderful!
